Welcome to the Alexander Technique area of my website.
In my role as an educator, I am passionate about introducing the Alexander Technique to as wide an audience as possible, but my main focus is bringing the work and its amazing benefits to students within the education system. I have been invited to give introductory Alexander Technique workshops to staff and students at schools and summer schools across the UK and have taught at the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music. I have also taught the technique at a number of postgraduate educational institutions including the Royal College of Music, the London School of Music Theatre and Associated Studios (opera singers).
Using the drop-down menu above you will be able to find information about my background and how I discovered the Alexander Technique (AT and Me), what the Alexander Technique is (What is AT?) and how the Alexander Technique works (How does AT work?). You can also find an area with FAQs which will hopefully answer any questions you might have.
I am a fully accredited and insured member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT) and adhere to their Code of Practice. I also have a DBS Enhanced Disclosure Certificate for working with children.
